Bane is an enemy of Batman and villain in the LEGO video game series. A professional criminal from Santa Prisca, he is best known for using the strength enhancing drug Venom. Bane had also defeated Batman in combat, but was eventually defeated by the Dark Knight.
History[]
LEGO Batman: The Videogame[]
Bane was one of the many villains who escaped Arkham Asylum, joining the Penguin's group alongside Catwoman, Killer Croc and Man-Bat. The group agreed to help him take over Gotham with remote-controlled penguins and placed them around the city.
Afterwards, Bane was tasked with helping Penguin by steal a satellite dish to transmit the control signal from the Gotham Docks. Together, they fought through GCPD officers, security guards and sailors protecting the cargo. After obtaining the dish, Penguin decided to double-cross Bane and left him behind with Commissioner Gordon. In anger, he attacked the police and nearby objects, only to knock himself out.
Shortly afterwards, Bane was transferred back to Arkham, where he could be seen trying to break out once again.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes[]
Bane was one of the criminals released by Lex Luthor and Joker during their breakout and escape. Teaming up with Penguin and Poison Ivy, they tried to use him mole to escape the Asylum. Chased into the maze by Batman and Robin, they were forced to travel underground by an obstacle and surfaced too quickly. Being flung from the mole, Bane was rounded up by the GCPD, but escaped again during the other inmates.
Bane can be found later on Gotham Beach, where he can be fought as a boss and unlocked to be a playable character.

- Bane is capable of lifting heavy objects and safely walking through toxins and able to break minifigures backs.

Trivia[]
- Whilst playing as Bane, he can pick up the second player/AI controlled Batman and perform the "Back-Breaker". This cannot be performed with any other playable character.
- Performing this in the XBox360 version will unlock the achievement "Atomic Backbreaker".
