History
Edit
Pre-Arkham
Edit
When he was a young boy, Bruce Wayne found an underground cave system located below his home in Wayne Manor and it would be useful when his parents died and Wayne swore to fight crime. It would be his secret base of operations as Batman. It houses his Batmobile, his Batwing, his Batcomputer and Batman's many other gadgets.
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Edit
A different Batcave appears in the first game of the Arkham series.
Batman: Arkham City
Edit
After the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman (as Bruce Wayne) was incarcerated in Arkham City. Hugo Strange's TYGER guards attempted to take over Wayne Manor, along with the Penguin's henchmen to take advantage of Wayne being incarcerated in Arkham City. Fortunately, Nightwing stepped in to defend the Manor, taking out the intruders and managing to keep Wayne Manor and the Batcave safe.
Trivia
Edit
- The Wayne Manor Batcave only features in the Challenge Map Pack DLC in Batman: Arkham City.
- Sometime after the events in Arkham City, Batman runs a simulation in the Batcave to test the Batcave's self defense systems and his own predator tactics. This was NOT a real break in by TYGER guards, but it was just a simulation as the Batcomputer informs the player.
