Each short, or segments, are written by Josh Olson, David Goyer, Brian Azzarello, Greg Rucka, Jordan Goldberg and Alan Burnett. [edit] DVD

Batman: Gotham Knight is available on both single and two-disc editions. The cover of the single disc includes a shot of Batman running from the style of the Deadshot segment, while the two-disc and Blu-ray editions include a Batman in the foreground and another Batman from the background. Both from the Deadshot segment also. All the editions were released on July 8th, 2008.

The special features range from a documentary covering the well-know Batman characters, an audio commentary, a chronology on Batman creator Bob Kane, followed by bonus episodes from the classic Batman: The Animated Series and a sneak peek at the next movie of the DC Universe Original Animated Movies line: Wonder Woman.

A novelization was released, also titled Batman: Gotham Knight.
