David Samuel Goyer is a comic book writer, screenwriter, and film director. In collaboration with Christopher Nolan, they wrote the stories for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises

Other works of Goyer as a writer include The Crow: City of Angels, Dark City, Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Blade, Blade II, Blade: Trinity (he also directed) and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Goyer also helped in making the highly anticipated video game Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Goyer aided Nolan once again when he helped write the script for the 2013 reboot Man of Steel. He wrote the sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, alongside Chris Terrio and director Zack Snyder
