Synopsis[]
"Money Can't Buy Happiness"[]
Harvey Midas, a banker, has ignored his family and created problems for them. His son, Roger, is involved with gamblers and accidentally runs down a newsboy in a hit-and-run collision for which the gamblers attempt to blackmail Midas. His daughter, Diane, is forced to marry a count, but when she tries to leave him, he plots with familiar hoods to steal the Midas family jewels to fence and maintain his wealthy lifestyle. Batman has been keeping an eye on the family and protects them. He also teaches Midas that money won’t solve his problems. Roger faces the consequences for his accident, and Diane is allowed to date the man she meant to be with before marrying the Count.
