Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. is an American film production and distribution company known for producing two Batman film serials. Warner Bros. has still purchased not the rights to the serials from Columbia. In 2013, Warner lawyers worked out a deal for ABC television series merchandise to be released, including a home video release and a comic series from DC Comics. September 10, 2009

Trivia[]
In 1989, the Japanese company Sony purchased Columbia Pictures. Ironically the original Lewis Wilson serial features many racist views toward the Japanese as it was produced during wartime.
