Frank Welker is prolific voice artist that is well known for imitating the sounds of animals. Many incidental animal sounds in Batman cartoons were performed by him. These include Isis, Werewolf sounds, a buyer and a thug in Batman: The Animated Series, Ace the Bat-Hound in Batman Beyond, and the feature-length film Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, where he also voiced Woof the Hyena-Man.
He also voiced Batman and Batboy in a Scooby-Doo crossover segment of Batman: The Brave and the Bold called "Bat-Mite Presents: Batman's Strangest Cases".
His best known voice roles are Fred Jones in Scooby Doo, Megatron in The Transformers and Doctor Claw in Inspector Gadget.
