Dunne is a private investigator in Gotham City.
Biography[]
He was seen everywhere looking for clues leading to the mystery of The Wizard, while being observed by Batman and Robin.
He was later turned over to the police when Batman, Robin, Commissioner Gordon and three security guards, while chasing the Wizard, found him inside a warehouse. When Dunne explains he hid inside the warehouse after hearing someone coming, one of the guards says he shot the Wizard in his right hand, Gordon grabs Dunne's right wrist, revealing a bloodied cut on it, which Dunne replies he snagged his hand on the barbed wire while climbing over the back fence, which doesn't convince Gordon.
When Batman discovers the Wizard's torn glove on the ground, Gordon tells Dunne that still doesn't clear him as the Wizard and orders the guards to take him into custody at the front gate.
