This shark was used in an attempt by United Underworld to kill Batman.
History[]
This shark was located by the United Underworld in the Atlantic Ocean. They managed to get a bomb into it and left it near the hologram of Commodore Schmidlapp's yacht, hoping that it would detonate with Batman in the near vicinity of it.
The shark did get near Batman, leaping from the water and latching onto his leg as he hung by the Batcopter's ladder. After struggling and punching it, Batman was handed a canister of Shark Repellant by Robin.
After being sprayed, the shark released its jaw's grip on Batman, and fell back to the water. Shortly after hitting the surface, the bomb inside it detonated, and the shark was blown apart.
