Gorilla Grodd is an enemy of The Flash, the Justice League, and Batman. He has the power to control other peoples minds and to read them.
[edit] Justice League TV series
Grodd first captured a city in order to use as a base of operations from which to launch nuclear weapons at Gorilla City. He cloaked the city and used his mind control helmet on the citizens. His plot was, however, foiled by the Justice League.
Grodd would later return, this time, though, as a direct enemy of the Justice League making his own league, the Legion of Doom. Just a few of the villains this Legion included were: KGBeast,Sportsmaster, Blockbuster and Copperhead.
[edit] Batman: The Brave and the Bold
Gorilla Grodd operated off of Dinosaur Island, which was apparently unaffected by time and physics. There Grodd and his gorrilas were developing "e-waves" which would evolve humans into gorillas. Batman and Plastic Man spotted Grodd and a team of gorrilas mounted on pterodactyls dragging an ocean liner with a crew of humans who they'd tested the "e-waves" on. After Grodd outsmarted Batman with mindcontrol, Batman used Plastic Man as a glider to get to Dinosaur Island. Batman infiltrated Grodd's base, but got seperated from Plastic Man. Grodd and Batman fought, but Batman was struck with e-waves which turned him into a gorilla, at which point Plastic Man arrived. Together the two tried to stop Grodd and his henchmen from setting off a machine which would set off e-waves for 5 miles, but failed from turning it off. Batman, however, had reset it to turn everything within its radius into humans. The now human Gorilla Grodd was incercerated, where he spoke of revenge and escape as he hung from his cell eating a bannana.
Grodd's parralel universe form served as a hero on a parralel Earth. He fought alongside Red Hood and Batman. During the battle, Batman almost punched him but stopped saying he looked like "someone he knew". Grodd's true form served under Owlman on the true Earth but was later arrested along with the other villains.
Gorilla Grodd was later captured by Equinox along with the Question and the two were placed over a giant fiery pit. Batman saved Question but left Grodd behind over the pit.
