The Batman[]
Hal Jordan was a test pilot from Coast City, who was enlisted in the Green Lantern Corps. He was trained by Sinestro, but refused to cooperate with his plans to change the order in the universe. He rallied the Lanterns against Sinestro, and he was initially defeated. Jordan later joined the Justice League.
Jordan then teamed up with Batman & Robin to defeat Sinestro when he came to steal Hal's power ring. After Sinestro caught him off guard, Jordan told the ring to find Batman, but instead, Penguin took it. After wreaking havoc on Gotham, Sinestro landed and demanded the ring. Penguin ran away and gave the ring to Batman. During his fight with Sinestro, Batman threw the ring to Hal. Together, the Dynamic Duo and G.L. managed to defeat the villain.
The Joining later returned,and with the help of Hugo Strange, kidnapped the powered members of the League. When Batman and Green Arrow found them, the Joining stole the League's powers and gave them to androids. The heroes retreated to the tech lab underneath Wayne Industries. Batman revealed the contingency plans he prepared for the League. The heroes then fight the androids with their weaknesses and regain their powers by punching into the power cores. They then prepare for a final stand against the Joining. Manhunter entered the code to stop the Joining to Batgirl via Strange's mind, while the Dynamic Duo were defending them. Batgirl then finished the code and destroyed the Joining. The heroes went to celebrate victory in the Watchtower.
