The Ice Princess was a model living in Gotham City. She was at the Gotham City Tree Lighting Ceremony and was the one who was going to turn the lights on. She was rehearsing the Ceremony when Bruce Wayne invited Selina Kyle to Wayne Manor to watch the Ceremony on television. She was in a tent getting ready and going over the Ceremony again when The Penguin and The Poodle Lady entered the tent, Penguin posing as a talent scout. She gullibly fell for their trick and got kidnapped, Penguin throwing a Batarang into the mirror, framing Batman. A news report detailing the Ice Princess' kidnap was broadcast on television where James Gordon was hesitant to blame Batman even though the evidence pointed to him.
Bruce had to blow Selina off to go to the scene to rescue the Ice Princess, Selina also left abruptly. Batman spotted the Ice Princess, bound to a chair and gagged, and raced to her rescue. While untying her, Catwoman swung in and kicked Batman away from the hostage. Catwoman cut the binds holding Ice Princess to the chair and grabbed hold of her with her whip.

Catwoman then fled to the roof with the Ice Princess. Batman followed, but when he got to the roof Catwoman was no where to be seen. The Ice Princess was alone standing on the edge of the roof. Penguin stepped out and threw an umbrella that burst open and released a swarm of bats. They all flew at the Ice Princess and she tried to swat them away but fell to her death. Ironically, she landed on the button, lighting up the tree. It appeared to the people below that Batman pushed her which was Penguin's plan all along.
