The Joker's black bounty hunter was an accomplice of The Joker. He helped bring the Joker to Gambol. After killing Gambol the Joker snapped a pool stick in half and informed the bounty hunters that he was holding an open audition for his soldiers, so the bounty hunters stood guard as Gambol's former men fought to the death.
