The Sword Swallower was a thug working for The Penguin, as a member of the Red Triangle Circus Gang.

BiographyEdit

The Sword Swallower followed the other goons when The Poodle Lady blew up a building. Batman suddenly appeared to halt the crime. Quickly, the Batman drew the sword from the man's mouth and incapacitated him. Later, he tried to steal a child in accordance with The Penguin's plans to kidnap the first-borns of Gotham but was arrested by Batman.

In the Super Nintendo version of the Batman Returns Video Game, if you punch the Sword Swallower while he still has the sword down his throat, he dies instantly.
