Named after the Shakespeare character, Titus is Damian Wayne's pet, a Great Dane, given to him by his father, Bruce.
Ace has been reintroduced in the Batman books, as a German Shepard/Great Dane mix bought by Bruce Wayne for his son Damian. Ace has appeared in every issue of Batman and Robin. It has yet to be seen if he will become "Bat-Hound", but Bruce has implied he puts police dogs to shame. Recently it has been named Titus, but Ace is used as an affectionate nickname.
- Before Flashpoint, Batman had a dog named Ace. Titus is the Post-Flashpoint version of this dog.
- The name that Titus was given by Damian was from the bloodiest and most violent of William Shakespeare's plays titled Titus Andronicus after the main character of the same name. Titus, a renowned general, is put up as the people's choice for the new Roman Emperor after his victorious 10-year compaign against the Goths after the previous Emperor died. Throughout the play Titus brutally kills many people in horrific ways, arguably the worst being when he killed the two remaining sons of the Queen of Goths - having early in the play murdered her eldest son - and baked them in her food so as to feed them to her.
