    As most have already heard by now, a late night screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado was witness to a horrible tragedy. Details of the incident are still emerging, but what is known is that a number of innocent fans/moviegoers were hurt or killed in a senseless act of violence.

    Speculation as to why the armed gunman did what he did will continue for days, meetings among high-level studio execs as to whether screenings of the film should be cancelled will be had, and discussion surrounding the trailer for Gangster Squad (which includes a scene where mobsters shoot into a crowded movie theater) will polarize individuals from both sides of the debate.
