Wesley Strick is an American screenwriter. Strick was hired by director Tim Burton for the final revision on the Daniel Waters (and Sam Hamm before) script for Batman II. The major change he did was to insert a master plan for The Penguin (Danny DeVito), inspired by the killing of the firstborn sons in the Bible, making a parallel between Oswald Cobblepot and Moses. This parallelism was used by Strick even for the abandon of Oswald by the Cobblepots. Strick then permanently deleted the Robin character from the script.

He was uncredited for his work on Batman Returns, but his name can be read in one of the movie trailers.

Other works of Wesley Strick include Arachnophobia, Martin Scorsese's Cape Fear, Wolf (starring Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer), The Saint (starring Val Kilmer), and the 2010 remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street.
