Al Rossi was one of Salvatore "Sal" Maroni's Capos.

While on trial, Rossi claimed he was the new head of the Falcone crime family. After he was to be treated as hostile, Rossi attempted to murder DA Harvey Dent. Rossi was quickly beaten into submission by Dent after his cheap Ceramic .28 Caliber failed to fire.
